Gift Commitment Fields

Object API name: GiftCommitment

A Gift Commitment is a Nonprofit Cloud record for a recurring donation or pledge. Its individual payments are gift transactions. Dryad Receipting adds fields that control receipting for the whole commitment. Several of them are copied onto each new gift transaction (see Defaults and Overrides).

How to read the field tables: the Field column shows the label you see on screen, with the field's API name (the name used by admins, reports and integrations) underneath it. The Data Type column uses Salesforce's own terms. A type that starts with "Formula" is calculated automatically and can't be edited. Some fields carry a tag, explained in Tags Used on This Page.

Receipting Status

Receipt Status dryad__Receipt_Status__c	Formula (Text)	The commitment's receipting status: "Ineligible - Do not receipt", the status of its last receipt ("Receipted" or "Voided"), "Ineligible - No receipt template", "Ineligible - Donor address incomplete" (only when Enable All CRA Rules is on), or "Eligible". See Eligibility Statuses.
Receipt Type dryad__Receipt_Type__c	Formula (Text)	"Acknowledgment" when "Acknowledgments Only" is the Do Not Receipt Reason on the commitment or on the donor. Otherwise "Donation".
Do Not Receipt dryad__Do_Not_Receipt__c	Checkbox	Tick to stop tax receipts for this commitment. Copied onto each new gift transaction. A reason or comments are required.
Do Not Receipt Reason dryad__Do_Not_Receipt_Reason__c	Picklist	Why the commitment isn't receipted. "Acknowledgments Only" sends acknowledgments instead of receipts. "Other" requires comments. Can only be chosen when Do Not Receipt is ticked. Copied onto new gift transactions.
Do Not Receipt Comments dryad__Do_Not_Receipt_Comments__c	Text Area	Notes explaining why the commitment isn't receipted. Copied onto new gift transactions.
Last Receipt dryad__Last_Receipt__c	Lookup (Receipt)	The most recent receipt for any of the commitment's gifts. Updated automatically when one of its gifts gets a new receipt.

Donor Details

These are the same receipt-ready donor details as on the gift transaction. They're used when a consolidated receipt is created for the commitment.

Donor Receipt Delivery dryad__Donor_Receipt_Delivery__c	Formula (Text)	The donor's Receipt Delivery preference ("Email" if it's blank).

Receipting Account dryad__Receipting_Account__c	Lookup (Account)	Special case The charity account that issues receipts for this commitment, when you issue receipts for more than one charity. Copied onto new gift transactions.
Receipt Template dryad__Receipt_Template__c	Lookup (Receipt Template)	A receipt template to use for this commitment instead of the default. Copied onto new gift transactions.
Email Template Id dryad__Email_Template_Id__c	Text	The ID of an email template to use instead of the default. Copied onto new gift transactions.
Receipt Template Id Assigned dryad__Receipt_Template_Id_Assigned__c	Formula (Text)	The receipt template that will be used: the commitment's Receipt Template, then the Receipting Account's, then Receipt Settings, matched to the donor's language and the receipt type.
Email Template Id Assigned dryad__Email_Template_Id_Assigned__c	Formula (Text)	The email template that will be used: the commitment's Email Template Id, then the Receipting Account's, then Receipt Settings, in the donor's language.
